Our Story
Curl Interrupted Salon & Spa opened its doors in 2011 with a simple idea: that a salon should be a place where everybody feels welcome, no matter their hair type, their budget, or how long it has been since their last appointment. Owner and master stylist Blake Trimly had spent more than a decade behind the chair at other salons before deciding to build the kind of place she had always wanted to work in – one where stylists have time to actually listen, and where clients are never made to feel bad about their hair.
What started as a two-chair salon has grown into a full team of talented professionals offering everything from precision cuts and dimensional color to hand-tied extensions, keratin smoothing, wedding styling, and men’s grooming. Along the way we have been lucky enough to become part of a lot of our clients’ lives – first haircuts, wedding days, big chops, fresh starts, and about a thousand ordinary Tuesdays.
Our Philosophy
We believe that great hair starts with a great conversation. Every appointment begins with a consultation because no two heads of hair are the same, and a picture on a phone does not tell us how you get ready in the morning. We ask questions. We tell the truth about what a look will take to maintain. And we would always rather talk you out of something than send you home with hair you cannot live with.
We also believe in doing things properly. We use professional products, we invest in continuing education for our whole team, and we never cut corners on the parts of a service you cannot see. Healthy hair is the foundation of everything else we do, and that is a standard we hold ourselves to on every single guest.
Our Salon
Our salon offers a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere with eight styling stations, a dedicated color bar, and a private treatment room for spa services. There is free parking in our own small lot out front, and complimentary beverages are always available. We are proud to be a locally owned and operated small business, and we are grateful for every guest who walks through the door.
