Hair Extensions
Extensions are one of the fastest ways to add length, thickness, or a little bit of both, and they have come a long way from what most people picture. We offer two methods here at the salon, and our extensions specialist Reba McEntangle will help you work out which one makes sense for your hair.
Hand-Tied Wefts
Hand-tied wefts are thin, flat rows of hair that are sewn onto small beaded sections of your own hair. They lay flat against the head, they are comfortable to sleep in, and they blend beautifully on most hair types. The rows are taken down and reinstalled every six to ten weeks as your own hair grows out.
Tape-Ins
Tape-in extensions are lightweight wefts applied with a medical grade adhesive on either side of a small section of your own hair. They go in quickly, they are very comfortable, and they are a good place to start if you have never had extensions before. They are moved up on the same six to ten week schedule.
Every extension guest starts with a consultation, so we can look at your hair, talk honestly about upkeep and your day to day routine, and order hair that matches your texture. The hair itself is ordered separately from the install. Pricing varies quite a bit with the method, the length and how much hair you need, so please call us for a consultation and we will go through all of it with you.
