Blake Trimly
Owner, Master Stylist – 18 years experience
Blake opened Curl Interrupted in 2011 after more than a decade behind the chair, and she still takes clients five days a week. She is known for consultations that start with your morning routine rather than a photo on a phone, and for cuts that grow out gracefully instead of falling apart in three weeks. Blake trains the whole team on curl shaping and dimensional color, and she is happiest when a nervous first-timer walks out grinning. Ask her about the big chop.

Shears Hilton
Color Specialist – 11 years experience
Shears lives for lived-in color – the balayage that looks like a good summer and grows out for six months without a hard line. She is the person the rest of the team calls in when a box-color situation needs rescuing, and she has the patience for the long appointments that real correction takes. Shears is direct about maintenance, honest about timelines, and will happily talk you out of a color she does not think suits your life.

Bobbi Pinatra
Bridal & Updo Artist – 14 years experience
Bobbi has styled hundreds of weddings across Central Texas, and she runs a wedding morning like a woman with a clipboard and a plan. She specializes in updos that survive a hot Texas reception, and she is meticulous about trials, timelines, and getting every person in the party out the door on schedule. Brides tell her they finally stopped worrying once she took over the getting-ready room. Bobbi also teaches the team’s long-hair and pinning work.

Harry Styler
Precision Cutting Specialist – 7 years experience
Harry is the quiet one with the sharp scissors. He came up through classical cutting education and he still sections like it is an exam, which is exactly why his bobs, lobs and blunt fringes hold their shape between visits. Harry is a good fit for clients who want a real change and want it done carefully. He does not oversell add-ons and he does not fill silence for the sake of it. Dry cuts are his favorite appointment of the week.

Dolly Partline
Blowout & Styling Specialist – 22 years experience
Dolly has been styling hair in Central Texas since the nineties and she has never once been talked out of a round brush. She is the fastest blowout in the building, the person you book before a reunion or a rehearsal dinner, and the reason half our regulars have big-hair opinions. Dolly is warm, funny, and completely unbothered by humidity. She also teaches the team’s finishing work, because a great cut still needs a great last twenty minutes.

Reba McEntangle
Extensions Specialist – 9 years experience
Reba is certified in hand-tied wefts and tape-in methods and she takes extensions seriously – starting with whether you should get them at all. Her consultations cover hair type, lifestyle, budget and the real maintenance schedule before anyone talks about length. Reba sources hair to match your texture rather than the other way around, and her move-up appointments run like clockwork. Clients say the first time they finally had hair that moved was in her chair.

Keratin Russell
Smoothing & Treatment Specialist – 6 years experience
Keratin came to the salon from a spa background, and it shows in how she treats a scalp. She handles the smoothing services, the bond-repair treatments and the gloss appointments that make everybody else’s color look expensive. She is calm, thorough, and generous with at-home advice that does not require buying eight products. If your hair is fried from a summer of pool water and flat irons, Keratin is the appointment to book first.

Matthew McConaughairy
Men’s Grooming & Barbering – 13 years experience
Matthew runs the grooming side of the salon: clean fades, scissor cuts that do not look like a clipper guard, and beard work that actually suits the face it is on. He is also the person parents request for a first haircut, because he is unhurried and kids like him. Matthew keeps a standing-appointment book and knows most of his clients’ kids by name. He will tell you when you do not need a cut yet.

George Strands
Co-Owner & Salon Manager – with the salon since 2015
George came in as Blake’s business partner in 2015, four years after she opened the salon, and he has handled the unglamorous half of it ever since – the books, the schedule, the ordering, payroll and the vendor calls nobody else wants to make. He spent ten years managing restaurants before this and it shows in how he runs a Saturday. George is the one who calls you back about a deposit, sorts out a double-booking and remembers that you asked for the first appointment of the day. He does not work behind the chair and he is perfectly happy about it.

Jennifer Anistrand
Senior Stylist – 16 years experience
Jennifer has been cutting long hair for sixteen years, and she is the reason half our regulars finally stopped chopping it all off every spring. Her specialty is layering that keeps the length but takes the weight out, plus the face-framing pieces that make a grown-out cut look intentional again. She is patient with fine hair, honest about how long a photo look will actually hold and genuinely good at the mother-and-daughter appointment where two people want two different things. Jennifer books a few weeks out, so plan ahead.

Cardi Bang
New Talent Stylist – 2 years experience
Cardi assisted in this salon for a year before she took her own chair, and she has quietly become the person everybody sends fringe to. Curtain bangs, blunt bangs, the grown-out ones that need a plan – she cuts them dry, a little at a time, and she will show you how to style them before you leave. As a newer stylist her book still has real openings, which makes her the right call when you want something done this week. She will also tell you honestly when a fringe is going to fight your hairline.

Ed Shearan
Barber Apprentice – in training with Matthew
Ed is a year into his apprenticeship under Matthew, working the grooming side of the salon: clippers, tapers, neck cleanups and beard trims, every one of them checked before anybody leaves. He is careful, quick to ask for a second opinion, and asks better questions than most people twice his age. Ed takes a limited book while he trains, which is exactly how apprentices are supposed to learn – on real heads, with somebody watching. If you want a standing four-week appointment you never have to plan around, he has the room for it.

Katy Perm
Salon Assistant
Katy keeps the floor moving. She shampoos, she preps color, she folds an alarming number of towels, she keeps the back bar stocked, and she is usually the one handing you a coffee before your cape is on. She is finishing cosmetology school in the evenings and assisting every stylist in the building in the meantime, which is the fastest education there is. Ask her about perms. She is convinced they are coming back around, and she has been working on the rest of the team about it for two years.

Selena Combez
Front Desk Manager
Selena runs the book, and the book runs the salon. She is the voice on the phone, the person who fits you in when somebody cancels, and the one who keeps wedding deposits, consultation callbacks and the two-visit color-correction puzzle from falling through the cracks. She has been at this front desk for six years and knows most of our regulars by their voice before they say their name. If you need to move an appointment, call her early – she has a great deal more pull with the schedule than the answering machine does.

Kelly Clipperson
Guest Coordinator
Kelly is the first face you see. She checks guests in, sorts out coats and drinks, keeps the waiting area from turning into a bottleneck on a Saturday, and returns the calls that come in while everybody else is behind a chair. She is the reason our consultation callbacks actually happen. Kelly came from four years in hotel front-of-house and she brought the habit of learning a name on the first visit and using it on the second. New clients tend to relax about thirty seconds after she says hello.

Post Salone
Front Desk – evenings and weekends
Post works the desk on weeknights and Saturdays, which means he closes the salon more often than anyone else does. He checks out the last guests, books the rebookings people always mean to make and forget, answers the phone until the lights go off, and runs the playlist that carries the room through the six o’clock stretch. He is studying business at the community college and picking up a little more of the ordering from George every month. If you called after five and a person answered, that was Post.
